Choir Holiday Workshop!
Do you love to sing? Do you want to do it just for fun? Then our Choir Holiday Workshop is perfect for you! No singing or music-reading experience is required either!
Besides singing great classical, funk, blues, pop, gospel and folk songs, you'll learn improvisation and harmonisation; improve your rhythm, ear and pitch; and build confidence. It's musicality and fun combined!
Vocal teachers Brooke Wilson and Chelsea Cullen will be running an exciting holiday workshop during the Term 2 break! Piano teach Sam Wylde will be accompaning the choir during the workshop and performance. The workshop will run over two days and will finish with a concert at the end of the second day which family and friends are invited to attend. Positions are limited so make sure you book your place as soon as possible to secure your spot! You can find out more about Brooke and Chelsea by clicking here.
When? 9am-1pm on Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th of July 2017. We will have a short lunch break in the middle of each rehearsal so please ensure your child brings something to snack on (plus a water bottle!)
Where? Dalkeith Road School of Music (70 Dalkeith Road, Nedlands). The concert at the end of day 2 will be held in the chapel at 1pm, followed by tea and coffee.
Pricing? $80 per person for both days (if your child is unable to attend both days, they are still welcome to attend but the cost will remain $80). You will receive an invoice upon signing up which will need to be paid before the workshop commences.
