Teachers and local songwriters Naomi Geste and Lucas Jones have prepared two extremely exciting days of music, games and activities where children will work together in a group to write and record their very own song. The workshop will cover the basics of how to write a song, from chords and rhythms to melodies and lyrics, as well as how to make a recording of themselves using Garageband. Naomi and Lucas are looking forward to sharing a whole lot of knowledge and laughs with all involved, creating new memories and a brilliant song!
When: During the first week of Term 3 school holidays, Tuesday the 1st of October 2019 from 9am-3pm and Wednesday the 2nd from 9am-2pm. There will be a small presentation in the chapel from 2pm on Day 2 to share what we have learnt and created, followed by tea and coffee.
We will have a short morning tea and lunch break each day so please ensure your child brings something to snack on plus a water bottle.
