About Us

The Dalkeith Road School of Music is a centre for creative excellence located in Nedlands, W.A. In addition to offering weekly music lessons, Dalkeith Road also hosts an annual Concerts Series involving performances of Jazz, Opera, Chamber Music and Theatre.

Boasting an expanding team of dedicated, experienced and active music professionals, DRSoM prides itself on individualised lessons, creatively tailored to any student, at any level. DRSoM offers tuition on several instruments such as violin, piano, guitar, voice and bass, spanning genres ranging from Classical and Jazz to Contemporary. With teachers hailing from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and University of Western Australia, DRSoM accommodates several different education pathways, including AMEB examination preparation for students looking to excel on their instrument, or songwriting and production collaboration for those wanting to develop their unique expression and foundation of music theory. At DRSoM, you can expect both excellence in training and excellence in heart.

We look forward to welcoming you but in the meantime, visit our Teacher page for more information including instrument specialisation and bios!
